Indian Panthers NBL Suspension

The Sal’s NBL Commission has suspended the Indian Panthers from the 2025 season effective immediately, following the team's failure to take the court for their 29 April game against the Canterbury Rams. The suspension will remain in place until either the Panthers meet certain undisclosed conditions or a final decision is made after an ongoing investigation into alleged breaches of the Participation Agreement. Due to the seriousness of the allegations, details remain confidential. The Commission emphasised the need to protect the League's integrity and financial stability, while confirming that the Panthers have assured all players and staff will be paid by 15 May.
